SPACE RENTAL
Dreamland Arts is available for rental to individual artists and groups on a limited basis. Organizations that have rented space include the Metro Regional Arts Council, VSA Arts of Minnesota, Jon Hassler Theater and Civic Theater among others. Renters are required to first come see the space to see if it will fit their needs (for space and equipment details, please see below) and to meet with Dreamland Arts staff. Our rental rates depend on the time of day, the day of the week, room used, equipment used, frequency of rental, etc. We can provide a bid for what it would cost to use the space based on specific information provided by the renter. Please note that we reserve the right to select all programming at Dreamland Arts.

THEATER & STUDIO
We have two spaces, a 40-seat theater and a basement studio. The theater stage area is a spacious 30' wide x 22' deep and with a wood floor suitable for dance. The venue is ideal for smaller projects in theater, music, dance, film, puppetry and multi-media, and is also an excellent rehearsal space. The basement studio, which is accessible by stairs, is about 30' x 20', has a carpeted floor and is best suited for rehearsals and meetings. There are two accessible bathrooms on the main floor and a kitchenette in the basement. There is free parking on both sides of Hamline Ave. right in front of the building. Restaurants and coffee shops are nearby.

TECHNICAL INFO
For sound we have 2 Peavey powered speakers, a 6-channel mixer and one Shure vocal mic with a stand. We also have an Ensoniq ESQ1 keyboard. For lights, we have 12 6x9 ellipsoidals and 4 Fresnels, with a Levitron 2-scene 16 channel lightboard. The venue is laptop hook up ready (we do not provide the laptop) with an LCD projector and 12' wide screen. A DVD/VHS player, sound system with CD player, as well as wireless internet access is also available.
